The main 'green' ingredient comes from the spinach and the great taste comes from the fresh banana, orange and strawberries.
Simply Green Smoothie RecipeServings: 2 Servings
- 2 cups spinach
- 1 large orange; peeled and sliced
- 1/2 banana; sliced
- 6 large strawberries; hulled
- 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 cup ice
InstructionsPlace spinach, orange slices, banana and strawberries into a powerful smoothie blender and process until smooth.
Add yogurt and ice and process once more until smooth.
If you only need one serving, place the second serving into an air tight container and freeze. When you're ready to drink the second serving, remove it from freezer approximately 30 minutes before you want to drink it.
