Smoothie tip: Place a few berries or small pieces of chopped fruit in the base of the glass. Serve the smoothie with a long-handled spoon so that the goodies at the bottom of the glass can be scooped out an enjoyed.
Cherry Pie Smoothie RecipeServings: 1 Serving
- 15 pitted black cherries; canned or fresh & very ripe
- 3/4 cup cranberry juice
- 2 scoops vanilla frozen yogurt
- 1/4 tsp. almond extract
- optional fresh cherries to decorate
InstructionsPlace frozen yogurt, juice, cherries and almond extract into your smoothie blender and process until silky smooth.
Sift contents through a non-metallic strainer into an ice-filled glass.
Decorate with fresh cherries.
